Abstract

We demonstrated a harmonic mode-locked fiber laser by using saturable absorber based on interaction of over-coupled long period fiber grating and carbon nanotubes. Maximum repetition rate of 5.38 GHz was obtained with 24.15 mW output. Wavelength tuning range of 8 nm is also realized by modifying the saturable absorber operation temperature.
