Abstract

Solar cell efficiency enhancement by gradient periodic TiO2 nanoislands formed with the facilitation of polystyrene-spheres was studied. The enhancement mechanism was categorized by antireflection and light-trapping and achieves 72% relative increase of short-circuit current density.
