Abstract

Monolithic ring lasers in InP are well suited for application in integrated components in the telecommunication optical window. A number of methods for coupling light out of a ring have been reported,^1-4 but often these methods are very demanding on technology. Wavelength selection and stability in monolithic ring lasers are also important issues.
