Abstract
The paper deals with an adaptive system for collimated light beams transfer through a distorted interface of two media with nonequal refractive indexes (e.g., n and 1). The proposed method is based on real time searching for quasiplane parts of the boundary appropriate for the transmission of strictly directed beams without a significant increase of their divergence. The reflection of a probe field is used to locate these areas and to govern a signal beam formation procedure.
