Micro-optical structures realized by LIGA technology

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

In the field of micro-optics LIGA has been successfully used to fabricate cylindrical lenses with aspherical contours. The surface quality of both the developed resist structures and the embossed structures have been measured using a laser profiler. Both results show an optical surface quality with a RA roughness below 50 nm.
