Abstract
During recent years we have observed that the outstanding nonlinear phenomena have found nonconventional use in the development of a fast-response modulating device for optical sampling and laser mode-locking.1,2 In this work we have investigated the nonlinear mirror (NLM), based on the frequency mixing processes, that could be applied as the optically driven modulator for laser spectral tuning3 and/or mode-locking.4,5
