Conjugated Resonators and the Problem of Transverse Pattern Controlling

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Conjugated resonators are best suited for the transverse pattern controlling because their modes are practically degenerated in frequency and losses. The minimum controlling action is defined by the eigenvalue spectrum splitting. The method of action is defined by the losses minimization condition for given transverse pattern and by the requirements to its stability. The controlling spatial light modulators characteristics impact on the modes and sensitivity to active medium optical inhomogeneity and to the precision of resonator components fabrication is investigated. The conjugated resonator schemes that provide reduction of the radiation load on the controlling spatial light modulators are discussed.
