E-symmetry phonon-polariton damping in PbTiO3 perovskite:direct measurement in the time domain

Abstract

An exhaustive study of polariton characteristics is particularly relevant to describe lattice dynamics in polar crystals , especially to address the balance between relaxational and displacive contributions from nuclei in the vicinity of a phase transition.
