Abstract

We have developed a multiparametric Lidar system by which is possible to carry out simultaneous measurements of: i) atmospheric aerosols, ii) water vapour profiles, iii) temperature and density profiles, iv) atmospheric transmissivity, and v) main atmospheric pollutants. The system is realised by a Nd:YAG laser pumping a dye laser capable equipped with a dual wavelength device. By this way the dye laser emission is made of two alternate (shot by shot) close wavelengths, allowing DIAL measurements of specific pollutants.
