Abstract

The scheme of Nd:YAlO3 laser with adaptive loop resonator (ALR) based on intracavity degenerate four-wave mixing (IFWM) was developed in [1, 2]. It was shown that the influence of IFWM may lead to the significant improvement of energy and spatial output laser parameters. As the nonlinear medium the crystal Cr4+:YSGG was used. The transient gratings of the refractive index are formed in the beginning of the lasing build-up. This fact and strong influence of IFWM to the lasing conditions may make the output emission of the ALR polarized in the case of light scattering under Brewster angle.
