Abstract

The field of high power semiconductor lasers has become one of the most competitive and fastest growing areas in optoelectronics, with commercial applications ranging from materials processing to medicine. As a result, it has become critical for manufacturers to improve the performance and reliability of their laser bars, while simultaneously reducing their cost and time to market.
