Room-Temperature Laser Pumped 2-μm Holmium Lasers.

Abstract

This work aimed at studying the laser action in YbLiF4:Ho, YbLiF4: Ho,Tm and KYb(WO4)2:Tm,Ho crystals under selective pumping with the 1.047 μm Nd:YLF laser. Also we considered the inverse population formation of working levels of the 2-μm transition in holmium ions.
