Abstract

Most of periodic and aperiodic distributed parameter waveguides have many applications in integrated optical devices such as wavelength-dependent resonators, distributed feedback laser (DFB), or narrowband optical filters for WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) optical communication systems. Usually, fabrication methods are based on interferometric technique.
