Abstract

In these last years there is a growing interest in atmospheric trace pollutants detection. One way to measure it is to use optical methods, i.e. laser absorption spectroscopy. As most of pollutants have absorption lines in the infrared region, a good way to detect them is to use at once a tunable infrared source with a high sensitivity detection method.
