Abstract

Thin films of the aromatic diamine molecule TPD and of TPD-arylene copolymers are used as hole-transport layers (HTL) and light emitting layers in electroluminescent diodes (OLEDs). In recent years wave-guided travelling-wave lasing in neat films has been achieved for various classes of luminescent conjugated polymers ([1] and references therein).
