Abstract

Blue fluorescent polymers are considered promising materials for light emitting devices: they can be used in pure phase as competitors of inorganic blue LEDs and lasers [1], or adopted as energy donors for color conversion in organic structures [2]. This process can be realized by Forster energy transfer in polymer blends, thus providing a simple way to build tunable emission devices.
