Abstract

Solitonic propagation of light in photorefractive materials has been largely investigated in the last years. The most investigated types, both experimentally and theoretically, are the screening solitons, obtained in crystals mainly without optical activity (O.A.). OA seems to be a detrimental factor for the capability of soliton forming.
