Abstract

Rapidly tunable mid-infrared laser are important for many applications such as mid-infrared spectroscopy. However the functionable rapidly tunable mid-infrared laser is not realized yet. Therefore development of the functionable rapidly tunable mid-infrared tunable laser is required. In our previous work, we demonstrated an electronically tuned Ti:sapphire laser with an accousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF). Rapidly continuous and random-access wavelength-tuning was realized in the near-infrared region.1) Furthermore, by applying two radio frequencies to the AOTF simultaneously, we can select two wavelengths with any kind of combination in the wavelength region from 700 nm to 1000 nm. Output powers of two wavelengths can be controlled by adjusting RFs power, independently.2)
