Incommensurate frequency waveform synthesis by optical parametric amplification

Abstract

In this contribution we present a method for multi-color waveform synthesis in the IR spectral region using optical parametric amplification (OPA). With this synthesizer, we demonstrate shot-to-shot reproducible pulses formed by a combination of incommensurate frequencies. Control of the reproducible multicolor waveform generation is demonstrated by using different CEP sensitive methods: i) nonlinear spectral interferometry; ii) directional ATI electron emission; iii) THz emission by tunneling microcurrent.
