Efficient Organic-Inorganic Hybrid White Light-Emitting Diodes with High Color Rendering Index

Abstract

Nowadays, polymer light-emitting diodes (PLED) have attracted great interest because of its easy solution process and high emission efficiency [1-2]. Therefore, this study demonstrate the hybrid white LED with the PFO materials and colloidal CdSe/ZnS QD are implemented in a UV LED by the dispense method [3], which can create a simple device that generate the pure white color at the different correlated color temperature (CCT) for cool and warm color temperature. Moreover, this hybrid structure with high CRI has the higher luminous efficiency than the QD-based LED structure with the different injection current.
