Abstract

The vibrational wavepacket generated in the ground electronic state (1g) of a H2+/D2+ molecule attracts our great interest because this molecular ion exhibits the simplest structure consisting of only two nuclei and one electron. Hence, many researches have studied the real time evolution of this wavepacket by using sub-10-fs pump&probe optical pulses. Nevertheless, the complex amplitude of each vibrational eigen wavefunction χvg(R)) with an eigen energy of ħωv8 in the wavepacket has not determined, so far, from the experimental data.
