Abstract
We report on developing of a new all-optical spectro-imaging system for rapid, noninvasive, in-vivo melanoma assessment. The system combines two bio-imaging modalities, optical coherence tomography (OCT) [1] and optoacoustics [2], to provide precise determination of (with resolution of < 50 μm) lesion boundaries in 3D with a Raman spectroscopic approach to detect if the tumor is benign or not.
