Abstract

Single-frequency, linear-polarized high-power light sources of laser interferometric gravitational wave detectors (GWDs) have to be stabilized to ultra-low noise levels before they are injected into the main interferometer. The laser power, laser frequency, beam pointing and spatial beam quality have to be simultaneously stabilized by means of several nested active and passive stabilization schemes.
