Abstract
To reduce the light shifts of the coherent population trapping (CPT) resonances, it was proposed to use a multi-frequency radiation of a femtosecond laser [1]. However, due to the fact that the emission spectrum of a femtosecond laser is many times larger than the width of the optical transitions used to pump the CPT resonances, data on successful experiments are not available.
