Abstract

The detection of ultra-low concentration at the level of single molecules has practical importance with regard to the detection of clinically relevant biomarkers in blood serum [1]. The early detection of several diseases, including coronary artery disease, demands detection of corresponding biomolecules at a single-molecule-level [2].
