High Energy Cryogenically Cooled Ho: YAG Oscillator

Abstract

We report efficient, cryogenically cooled, continuous wave and pulsed HoYAG lasing with excellent beam quality. We demonstrate average powers of 60 W and pulse energies 310 mJ with a 100 Hz PRF without thermal degradation.
