100 fs LED-pumped Cr: LiSAF regenerative amplifier

Abstract

We demonstrate the first LED-pumped femtosecond CrLiSAF regenerative amplifier operating at a 10 Hz repetition rate. After recompression, we obtain 100 fs pulses with 0.3 mJ pulse energy at 835 nm.
