Free-Space Intra-Cavity Dark Pulse Generation

Abstract

First demonstration of free-space intra-cavity dark pulse generation through synchronized sum frequency generation between mode-locked and NdYVO4 laser. Cross-correlation shows dark pulses at 1064nm with sub-picosecond widths and 80 modulation depth at 150mW output.
