Towards the Multi-kW Ultrafast Green Thin-Disk Laser

Abstract

We present an ultrafast green laser with near-diffraction-limited beam quality delivering more than 1.4 kW of average power. It is based on second harmonic generation of a YbYAG thin-disk multipass amplifier in LBO.
