Efficient Yb-doped laser oscillator delivering 729 mW in 22-fs pulses

Abstract

A cross-pumping approach for BULK laser oscillators enables overcoming previous bandwidth limitations. Applied to a Kerr-lens mode-locked YbCALGO laser enable to generate 22 fs pulses with an average power of 729 mW and 25 optical-to-optical efficiency.
