Faraday Isolator with Composite Magnetooptical Elements

Abstract

Composite terbium gallium garnetsapphire elements for Faraday isolators were produced by the SADB method. The resulting structures provided 34dB isolation ratio at laser power of 700W the maximum operating power estimated to be over 2kW.
