Demonstration of a Resonantly Amplified Terahertz Quantum Cascade Detector

Abstract

The photon-driven nature of the transport in terahertz quantum cascade lasercan be exploited to detect light. Fast tunable detectors are demonstrated with responsivitieshigher then 17 VW and working temperature up to 100 K.
