Towards plasmonic-enhanced optical nonlinearities in graphene metal-heterostructures

Abstract

Gate-tunable huge optical nonlinearities in graphene-metal heterostructures are reported. Moreover, plasmonic-mediated nonlinear enhancement is expected in the range 6-9 mum, which can be addressed by efficient spectral translation of mid-infrared photons into the visible.
