Yb-laser-based sub-60fs Mid-Infrared Source Tunable from 2.5μm to 10μm

Abstract

Dual optical parametric amplifier setup capable of generating broadband few-cycle pulses tunable throughout 2.5m-10m is presented. Output power 1.5 W at 3m and 450mW at 10m is achieved using an 80W pump laser.
