Excitation of Orbital Angular Momentum Modes in Helical Bragg Waveguide Inscribed by Femtosecond Laser Beam in YAG Crystal

Abstract

A few mode waveguide with the depressed cladding in the form of helix was inscribed in YAGNd crystal. Conversion of Gaussian beam into modes with orbital angular momentum is experimentally demonstrated at Bragg resonance.
