Abstract

The number of myopia diagnoses has been rising for years [1], leading to growing need for precise myopia correction. In this study, we introduce a femtosecond laser-based method for direct crosslinking [2] of corneal collagen fibres without creating oxygen radicals or the need for additional sensitizers. We aim to individually form the cornea by modulating the local stiffness [3].
