Abstract
Bulk tissue polarimetry is a promising method for label-free imaging of biological samples utilizing naturally accrued polarization contrast of structural tissue composition exploiting vector nature of the light [1, 2]. Besides, the hyperspectral imaging is an emerging diagnostic modality widely used for functional tissue characterization [3]. We develop an approach utilizing a combined use of polarization and hyperspectrally-resolved imaging for the non-destructive label-free screening of the paraffin embedded tissue blocks.
