Photon-pair generation and Second harmonic generation experiment on LiNbO3 on insulator

Abstract

We fabricate nano-size photonic waveguides and micro-ring resonators on LiNbO3-on-insulator platform, then measure their classical optical properties, including propagation loss and SHG. Using SHG results, photon-pair generation experiments are carried out, CAR value reaches 1548.
