Quick Quantum Steering: Overcoming Loss and Noise with Qudits

Abstract

We formulate and demonstrate a test of quantum steering under extreme conditions of loss and noise, free of the fair-sampling loophole, with a dramatic reduction in measurement time counter-intuitively achieved through the use of qudits.
