Non-Hermitian Chirality and Topological Properties of Graphene-loaded Photonic Crystals

Abstract

Using the symmetry control of graphene-loaded non-Hermitian photonic crystals, we demonstrate non-Hermitian chirality of polarization conversion originating from exceptional points. Theoretical and experimental results clarify momentum-space dynamics of non- Hermitian chirality and topological properties.
