Generation of Time-Energy Entangled Photon Pairs in Bichromatic Photonic Crystal Cavities

Abstract

MHz-rate generation of time-energy entangled photon pairs is demonstrated on Silicon and InGaP bichromatic Photonic Crystal cavities with µW-level pump power. High visibility up to 94% is measured with 1 second integration.
