Topological Broadband Slow Light in Synthetic Dimensions

Abstract

Slow light devices are essential in photonics, yet they are limited by large footprints and disorder. We demonstrate that topological slow light in synthetic spaces tackles this challenge and slows down light in compact footprints beyond conventional limits.
