Stimulated Generation of Indistinguishable Single Photons from a Quantum Ladder System

Abstract

Single photons play a key role for applications in photonic quantum technologies. Here we propose, model and demonstrate a scheme that enables the generation of high purity indistinguishable single photons from a quantum ladder system.
