Numerical Analysis of Crosstalk in Tellurite Multi-Core Fiber for Near-Infrared Image Transportation

Abstract

Crosstalk in tellurite and silica multi-core fibers was calculated. The results showed that tellurite fibers can provide 1.83 times the resolution and 2.5 times the brightness compared to silica fibers in image transportation at 1.55 µm.
