Broadband Frequency Hopping Millimeter-Wave Generator Based on Photonic Spectrum Broadening

Abstract

A W-band frequency hopping waveform generator is proposed based on photonic spectrum broadening using dual-drive Mach-Zehnder modulators. It operates at 89-105 GHz with 11 channels and a hopping bandwidth of 16 GHz.
