Spin Momentum Locking Induced Dynamic Circular Dichroism in Extraordinary Optical Transmission

Abstract

A dynamic circular dichroism is observed in the extraordinary optical transmission of a symmetric nanohole array. It is attributed to extrinsic chirality resulting from the spin-momentum locking between surface plasmon polaritons and the incident light.
