Optimizing the enhancement of nonlinear effects with spectrally periodic solitons

Abstract

We study the enhancement of the nonlinear effects through linear dispersion engineering. The amplitudes of the J frequency components follow a simple relation, from which we can derive that the enhancement factor increases as 0.687J.
