Direct Detection of Optical Rabi Oscillations from a Single Quantum Dot

Abstract

We use coherent transient resonance fluorescence to follow the time evolution of Rabi oscillations in a semiconductor quantum dot. We obtain a lifetime limited decoherence rate.
