Abstract
We demonstrate broadband slow light through adiabatic nanofocusing of surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) on a conical tip. A few femtosecond group delay for nanofocused pulses is found, corresponding to an SPP velocity of less than 0.2c at the apex of the tip.
