Long Distance Distribution of Entangled Photon Pair Over 300 km of Fiber

Abstract

We report the experimental distribution of a time-bin entangled photon pair over 300 km of optical fiber, which is a record for long-distance quantum communication. The observed two-photon interference fringe exhibited a visibility of 84%.
